We have arrived in minamisanruki... tomorrow we begin to build a paper planet. It's been 2.5 years since my last visit.. it was quite emotional to drive back into this town... there is change and rebuilding, there is still a lot of empty ground... #rebuilding #recoverytakestime #polyglottheatre

I have spent my last full day in Japan ( :() at the Shigaraki ceramic cultural park... I think I'm going to need a bigger Kiln! #shigarakiceramicculturalpark #ceramics #sculpture #thinkingbig #dreaminginlandscape
A sunset moment Over a peaceful ocean Our work here is done Tomorrow a memorial to acknowledge the anniversaryThe weather here has been beautiful to stormy, strong winds and snow to warm sunlight... it mirrors the journey we have been to be here. Wonderful stories, stories of great hope, tragedy and loss, stories with laughter and joy and tears #minamisanriku #recoverystories #polyglottheatre #artandrecovery
Today was a big story day...this evenings meal was eaten in a restaurant whose rebuilding was inspired by this bouy from the original restaurant being found in Alaska and returned to its owner in Minamisanruki.( the dinner was also made up from food collected fresh today from the ocean... only enough to feed those who had booked for dinner...so special, so yum!) It's amazing what small things can inspire hope and resilience...this is just one story from many in this town. #storiesofresilience #livingfortoday #ontourwithpolyglot #paperplanetinjapan
Meanwhile up north in Minamisanruki it's snowing...
